Neither did I.
In January 2024 I was diagnosed with ALS, a terminal illness with no cure and a 2-5 year prognosis. I was shocked. I’ve never felt so numb. Then I found myself wondering why I was so surprised.
Because here’s the thing… we’re ALL dying. I just finally got the memo in writing.
Instead of disappearing, I started living louder. Instead of hiding, I started sharing. And somewhere along the way thousands of people found out they’re dying too. Some already had a terminal diagnosis. Some were losing someone they loved. Some just finally woke up to the fact that none of us are promised tomorrow.
This is where we choose purpose, peace and a little dark humor… because life is too short to live today any other way.
